Barnard’s Star ~ Roy Bicknell

Barnard’s Star has been of interest to astronomers since 1916 when it was discovered to be moving across the sky with the fastest apparent speed of any star then known, it was also among the first stars to be announced to have an orbiting planet. My talk will look at this star in detail and also discuss my own astrometric observations and conclusions.
